Industrial Demolition Services
Industrial work starts long before the building comes down. Equipment has to come out, the facility has to be shut down in the right order, and the site has to be ready for whoever is next.
Industrial building demolition
Full or partial demolition of manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial structures, planned around neighboring operations, utilities, and heavy truck access.
Plant and facility decommissioning
Shutting a facility down in the right order: utilities disconnected, equipment and fixtures out, interiors cleared, and the building left safe and empty for demolition, sale, or a new tenant.
Equipment and racking removal
Pallet racking, mezzanines, conveyors, production equipment, and building systems taken apart and hauled away so a relocation, closure, or expansion stays on schedule.
Interior demolition and strip-outs
Offices, production floors, and tenant spaces taken back to the shell for reuse, a new tenant, or the next phase of construction.
Asbestos and hazardous material coordination
Older plants usually need a survey before demolition. UJD is a licensed asbestos abatement company, so abatement is coordinated with the demolition on one schedule.
Site preparation and cleanup
Debris hauled to licensed facilities, metal separated for recycling where practical, and the lot left ready for the next contractor, buyer, or development.

- Cleaned combustible dust out of the collectors and ductwork before any cutting
- Rigged down two ceiling-mounted dust collectors and about 200 feet of collection ductwork
- Cut out about 400 feet of overhead piping: copper, cast iron, and conduit
- Removed interior metal wall panels and insulation
- Credited the recovered copper, cast iron, and steel back against the price
